These groups operate independently as third-party vendors. The VSB, Shaughnessy Elementary, and the Shaughnessy Elementary PAC are not responsible for their performance.
LIGHTS UP MUSICAL THEATRE AFTERSCHOOL AT SHAUGHNESSY ELEMENTARY
Sing. Dance. Act. Shine!
At Lights Up Afterschool, your child can experience the joys and benefits of musical theatre by taking part in our afterschool programs led by our talented and experienced Lights Up Musical Theatre Schools’ staff.
These classes are a unique introduction to our weekend musical theatre programs and provide students with an enriching, rewarding, and most of all, fun afterschool activity right at the bell!
SPRING SHOW: MARY POPPINS!
This spring, our Lights Up afterschool students will fly into the magical, musical world of Mary Poppins! Inspired by the beloved films, “Mary Poppins” features iconic songs, exciting dances, and extraordinary imagination. From chimney sweeps to dancing penguins, it is sure to be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Students will be supervised from dismissal. No need to pick up your child until 5:15 pm!
Performance on the last day of classes for friends and family!

Young Rembrandts
Young Rembrandts
Young Rembrandts is an after-school enrichment program that offers drawing classes for children in kindergarten through grade 6. Drawing has proven to have special significance for young learners, providing a visual and tactile medium that meets children's learning needs. The Young Rembrandts curriculum engages both sides of your child's brain, offering a form of brain-based learning that helps with the complete education and full development of modern minds. With Young Rembrandts, children can improve fine motor skills, attention to detail, visual-spatial organization skills, vocabulary, persistence, patience, discipline, manners, self-esteem, and self-confidence.
